How to spot good quality women's clothes on SHEIN
Low prices make it easy to add things to your cart without thinking. But the model photos don't tell you how something will look and feel in real life. A few quick checks can save you from wasting money.
Trust customer photos over model photos
Model photos are styled and edited. Photos from real buyers show you the true colour, how the fabric hangs and whether the item fits the way you expect.
Read the middle reviews
Five-star reviews are often short and don't say much, and one-star reviews can be about delivery problems. The three-star reviews are often the most honest. If several people mention thin fabric, a different colour or sizing problems, believe them.
Check the fabric details
Look at the material percentages and any notes about thickness or stretch. Our guide on fabrics to look for explains what the common ones mean.
Look closely at the details
Zoom in on the review photos. Check the seams, stitching, buttons and zips, and whether the item is lined. Wobbly seams or loose threads in several photos are a warning sign.
Be careful with complicated items at very low prices
A simple t-shirt at a low price is usually fine. A lined coat or a detailed dress at a very low price deserves a closer look at the reviews first.
Check the return conditions
Before you pay, see what the returns information says for your country. If something turns out to be poor quality, you want to know your options.
